Most Anticipated Fall Books for 2025
Well everyone, it's finally that time. COZY SEASONNNN! Living in Alaska, it doesn't really feel the same as anywhere in the lower 48. The fall season usually hits around the end of august. If you are lucky, you might get a Labor Day weekend that's over 70* in temperature, it's unlikely though. This year, without fail, fall literally blew in on August 28th. right in the middle of the Alaska State Fair. With 40 mph winds in Palmer, and 70mph winds in Anchorage, the leaves turned yellow and brown overnight and the air chilled, practically overnight. Most Alaskans are pulling out the jackets and hats. If you are like me you are also searching for the next best cozy read. Well, lucky for you I have a few I would love to share with you.
The romance genre this year is definitely killing it with the fall, pumpkin spice era. If you are looking for a cozy book to read under the blankets with the fire going, give them a shot! The fantasy genre has a large selection of shivering, dragon slaying battles that you don't want to miss out on. For the Halloween season, it looks like Mona Awad will release the second book in the Bunnies Series called, "We Love You Bunny". I gotta be honest here, the first one was not my cup of tea. However, I will be giving the second one a shot. There are many amazing books and authors on this list, but the one I am most anticipating will be "Alchemised" by SenLinYu. This was originally a Dramonie Fanfiction, turned traditional publishing. Releasing September 23rd, totaling over 1000 pages, and multiple special editions already on contract. I can confidently say this is the book that everyone is waiting for.
Anyway, take a look down below and share with me what books you are most excited for with the submissions feature under the "contact me" page. Happy reading!

Alchemy of Secrets is a glittering descent into old Hollywood’s haunted heart. Fallen City is a sweeping tale of rebellion, forbidden love, and divine fate. In the walled city of Isara, Luca and Maris are caught on opposite sides of a holy war—one a reluctant symbol of uprising, the other bound to a corrupt regime. As secrets unravel and gods stir, their bond becomes both salvation and betrayal.

The Strength of the Few is a sweeping epic of fractured selves and looming cataclysm. Vis Telimus—hero, traitor, myth—is split across three worlds, each version forced to fight, deceive, and survive. As ancient powers stir and the Hierarchy tightens its grip, Vis must unravel the truth behind his replication before reality itself collapses.

Saltcrop is a lyrical voyage through a drowned world where sisterhood is both compass and anchor. But in the depths, nothing is as it seems, and the greatest danger may be the truths they carry.

The Primal of Blood and Bone is a storm-lit descent into godhood, betrayal, and cosmic reckoning. Play Nice is a devilishly clever haunted house tale wrapped in family trauma and influencer gloss. When Clio inherits her childhood home—the one her mother claimed was possessed—she sees a chance to flip it for content. But as memories resurface and shadows stir, Clio must confront the demons she buried long ago… and the ones still waiting in the walls.

We Love You, Bunny is a wickedly surreal descent into the heart of dark academia. When Sam’s debut novel sparks fury among her former Bunny clique, she’s kidnapped and forced to hear their side of the story—one told with axes, alchemical rituals, and monstrous creations. Part prequel, part sequel, all delirium, this is a fairy tale slasher stitched with satire, obsession, and the terrifying wonder of making something new.
Want a shorter tagline or a version that leans more poetic or eerie? I’d love to conjure it.
